My Favorite Protein Bars

Built Bars & Puffs:

These are my FAVORITE whey-based protein bar out there. You have to order them online and they can't be found in stores - but I think they are so tasty, and the macros are great! The bars are between 130-180 calories, and pack around 17-18g of protein each. The regular bars are chewy and take on the consistency of a milky way; the puffs are "fluffy" and kind of like a malomar!
Health note: Contains high-quality & easy to digest protein; has no artificial sweetners; does contain natural flavors (undisclosed flavoring). Most options are gluten-free but a few flavors do contain gluten so be sure to check if you have an allergy.

G2G Bars:

G2G Bars are a tasty, energizing protein bar (packing about 18g each) with a clean ingredient list that you can read. They are a bit more caloric than some of the others on this list (around 300 calories) but perfect for a meal on the go or fueling before a heavy workout! You can find them at Costco, Amazon, or in the refridgerated aisle at the grocery store.

Quest Bars:

Quest Bars are a good option for whey-based protein. They have a TON of flavors and are good heated up or as is. They pack around 20-21g of protein each at around 200 calories and are quite filling. My favorite flavor is oatmeal chocolate chip.
Health note: Contains high-quality whey protein isolate; does contain artificial sweetners and contain natural flavors (undisclosed flavoring).

No Cow Bars:

No Cow bars are one of the few higher protein vegan options you will find. They contain around 20g of protein each and are made of brown rice & pea protein.
Health note: Vegan; gluten & soy-free; has no artificial sweetners (uses stevia); does contain natural flavors (undisclosed flavoring) & a small amount of palm oil (omega-6).

Orgain's Organic Protein Snack Bar:

These snack bars are tasty and plant-protein based. They pack in 10g of protein for 150 calories, and the ingredients are overall pretty good.
Health note: Vegan & gluten-free; has no artificial sweetners (uses stevia); contains nuts.

Kirkland Protein Bars:

These are Costco's version of quest bars - and they are pretty good!
My favorite of the four flavors are Chocolate Peanut Butter Chunk and Cookies and Cream (these are limited edition- normally you will see cookie dough & chocolate brownie regularly stocked).
Health note: Contains high-quality & easy to digest protein; gluten-free; has no artificial sweetners; does contain natural flavors (undisclosed flavoring).
