For any kind of cheese, organic is always the best option when it comes to quality and nutrients.

If you are looking to save on calories and up your protein a little, you can opt for low-fat or fat-cheeses.

Hard cheeses or aged cheeses tend to be very low in lactose - or may even contain no lactose (hard cheeses such as cheddar, parmesan; aged cheeses such as feta, brie).

Fat-free cheese tends to be more highly processed and lower in nutrients, BUT does tend to contain more protein and can be helpful during a calorie deficit.
